PinkDrive NPC has partnered with Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED) and CHINT in providing critical life saving Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to Kwa Zulu Natal (KZN) medical facilities during a Cancer Screening Outreach in September.

Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED) and CHINT have provided 14500 medically approved disposable masks to PinkDrive to distribute in the coming weeks.  500 masks will be donated to 12 clinics/hospitals for the Health Workers in KZN.

CED’s, Richard Egenrieder shared, “The COVID-19 pandemic has effected all industries but the direct impact on the frontline health workers has been devastating.  We would like to show our support for these remarkable individuals by partnering with PinkDrive to provide protective masks to community clinics and hospitals in KwaZulu Natal where shortages are dire.”

“PinkDrive’s unerring mission is to prolong lives through the prevention of illness, disease, and the promotion of healthy lifestyles, and to consistently improve the health care delivery system by focusing on access, equity, efficiency, quality and sustainability. PinkDrive relies on partnerships with the corporate sector to provide services to indigent communities.  Where we are able, we will continue to support the National Department of Health (NDoH) and the frontline workers who are the real heroes of the pandemic.” Explained, Noelene Kotschan, CEO and Founder of PinkDrive NPC.

PinkDrive NPC, a significant player in the gender related cancer sector has joined forces with the National Department of Health (NDoH) and the National Department of Social Development (NDSD) to bring critical screening to Kwa Zulu Natal, where health care facilities are struggling to accommodate these additional screening services during COVID-19. Funding from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) will allow PinkDrive to take their Mobile Women’s Health Unit to provide screening and education for Gender Related Cancers including Breast, Cervical and Prostate cancer to the indigent communities of Newcastle, Ladysmith, Pietermaritzburg, Durban, Umdoni and Ugu districts.
