PinkDrive was the beneficiary for the first time at the Amashova Cycle Race on the 14th October. The registration took place 11th- 13th October. Many cyclists bought cycle shirts and accessories from our Shop 4 Cancer and showed their support to PinkDrive. All funds go to our Mobile Breast Check Units so that we can educate women across South Africa and get our message across that early detection saves lives.
DA Premier Helen Zille also participated in the Amashova and took a break at the PinkDrive gazebo along the route, and gave very positive feedback to our Director, Noelene Kotschan, commending PinkDrive on doing such amazing work in the communities.
PinkDrive would like to thank each and every cyclists who rode in pink- without your support we would not be able to assist our women and make a difference. A special thanks to CURVES for their assistance alongside the road and cheering on our pink cyclists.
